Rowing news and sticky experiments!

I am delighted to announce the sucess of our school rowing teams. These children meet up once a week at lunchtime and perfect their rowing techniques and pitch their skills against 70 other teams across the country. This is our first year competing and I am proud to reveal that our boys finished 4th in the country and our girls 7th. What wonderful news! They should be very proud of themselves.

In other news, Y4 children have completed a poo experiment. At first I was horrified wondering what on earth the children were doing; however they were actually looking at digestion and how food travels through and out of our body. Whilst they assured me that it was fun and disgusting in equal measure, there is no denying that this is one bodily process that they will remember for ever. Here are photographs to show their experiment today.
